I enjoyed reading all the posts on the Drollerie Press blog tour (a complete list with urls is here). You can find my post, hosted by Joely Sue Burkhart over at Dreaming in Rhyme, here.

One thing tells me we have more to learn about how to make blog tours work: all the blogs that usually attract comments had a big drop in comments the day of the guest post. The blogs that don't (yet) tend to get comment traffic didn't get any more for having a guest post than they usually do, though that's not surprising. Sometime when it's not roughly 2am, I'll have to take a look at non-Drollerie blog tours and see if that's a general pattern. If not, I'll have to find someone who's made this kind of thing work before, and do a little brain-picking.

Meanwhile, Happy Imbolc, everyone.

Happy Imbolc to you! May this month be better... wow am I glad the Cailleach's gone again.

Interesting observations about the blog tour. Yeah, I had a small hope my own blog would garner more readership, but it's all right to me if it doesn't, too; I put little up there except some stuff about writing, some about illness, and the occasional book review. Maybe I am just in the thinking that because I only write stories I shouldn't necessarily get that. (Actually, Heather bopped me for saying that about myself, but I dunno...)

All in all, though, I liked the tour; it kind of pushed me a little out of my safety net, so to speak:)

There's a third! YEA!!!!!

I'm so excited. Don't forget to post when Atlantis comes out, we have a Kindle now, and must have it. (And if you could refresh the Closing Arguments link that would be cool.)

Love and miss you!

What is this "only" you speak of? Edgar Allen Poe "only" wrote short pieces.

The tour got me back into the groove after months of writing under 200 words a day (toddler-wrangling is really hard on the writing), so I'm looking forward to the February round.

I will be posting and posting and posting about Atlantis Cranks. Meanwhile, you can find Closing Arguments here (http://www.amazon.com/Closing-Arguments/dp/B001CQCA6I/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1233644834&sr=8-1).

How do you like your Kindle?
