Regarding Bob
Aug. 17th, 2006 12:08 amAt this point, I anticipate being done with this pass of revisions to the big book before the weekend's over.
Of course, usually when I say stuff like that, the Gods laugh, and next thing I know I have an urgent obligation to drive across a state line for somebody else's emergency, but this time, I really, really think the whole manuscript is close to being presentable.
There's a lot of annoying preparation I need to do before I can actually begin writing the little book again, so I'm hoping to make repairs to the Bob novella during those same annoying preparation weeks.
Some beta readers' comments on the first Bob draft are already coming in--and thank you! And I will respond to all of them Very Soon!
More comments would be very welcome at the usual email address. In particular, I'd welcome knowing where you were confused or bored, and anywhere you think there are cuts to be made.
