Things That Count As Work

I'm tidying up the manuscript for Atlantis Cranks Need Not Apply so it'll be as clean as I can make it before my editor gives it her last once-over.

My big writing achievements for yesterday:

* Noticed I have a habit of using the word "up" at every idiomatic opportunity
* Decided said habit was a defect in my prose style
* Ran Search function on "up"
* Deleted and/or rephrased in about half the spots the Search function found

Probably no one would have noticed, but it really was a problem.
