dr_pretentiousHome again, very tired, and optimistic. The trick will be getting a person who's had access to the military medical system throughout her adult life to brave the civilian medical system. I can't blame my mother for putting things off longer than she should have. It's hard enough to fight the insurers when you're accustomed to it. Imagine having to do it for the first time at the age of 55, while sick.
It looks like I'll be renewing my intimate automotive acquaintance with I-95 this summer, but at least we're out of emergency mode. Thanks for all the good wishes.
