Baby Pictures!

Dan has updated the photo gallery. It's still a bit of a jumble, with the Malibu Gravid Barbie pictures mixed in among the hospital week pictures. Here are the best of the batch. In roughly chronological order:

Our first sight of Gareth in the operating room

Dan holds Gareth's hand in the nursery while they wait for me to come out of surgery

What a person looks like who has just been through 34 hours of labor and a c-section when she finally gets to hold her baby

Two days later, we're up and about with the baby sling, albeit well medicated and somewhat disheveled

And now I'm going to try to follow that classic advice about sleeping when the baby sleeps.

YAY! Pictures! He is definitely a cutie. I do recall the the feeling of post labor and c-section exhaustion. You look much recovered in the later pictures. Hope you are continuing to do well and resting whenever you can. I'd love to visit but Andrew has a cold that turned into an ear infection...so maybe December? (My sister has offered to watch Andrew). I will even promise you something home made for the freezer.

Well, he's just beautiful, and Gareth is a fine Welsh name, strong and true. And since he has such nice parents, no doubt he'll grow that way as well. Are you gonna call him Gar? His friends will, especially if any of them are Welsh.:)

Thank'ee's for the posting of pics! :-) He looks so comfortable with you two - I bet you three will forge a strong family over the years. :-) The pic of you with him cuddling in the baby sling - I've never seen a baby looking so content to be born before. He just radiates 'this is right where I'm supposed to be'. :-) And the one with him holding on to Daddy's finger... that is just so immensely kyool. :-D
