So here Dan and I are in the living room with Keith Olberman on the television. Dan's doing his stretches, I'm checking email, and Olberman is making wisecracks about Larry Flynt's claims that he's going to demand a Congressional bailout for the porn industry.

KEITH:
Billions for the banking industry, but not one red cent for Jenna Jameson?

DAN:
He just assumes everybody knows who Jenna Jameson is. Are we the only people in America who don't watch porn movies?

ME:
She wrote a book, you know.

DAN:
Yeah, I heard it getting flogged on NPR. That's how I know who she is.

ME:
::laughs uncontrollably::

DAN:
I heard the book getting flogged. The book! Jeez.

I suppose that in the literary world, book flogging is considered to be very naughty. Do you need to wear a corset while flogging a book, or is the strict schoolmarm/librarian costume more appropriate? I bet Jenna Jameson has multiple versions of both the schoolmarm and librarian looks tucked away in a prop-closet somewhere.

Now, now... Jenna is a legitimate actress. (That's SFW, sorta -- it's a review of the horror movie she was in, and there's no nudity, but if you scroll down there is a Jenna-in-her-underwear shot.)

And I've SEEN that atrocity, because it had "Samhain" in the title so I couldn't not look, y'know? :-)
