dr_pretentiousDan's biking in a charity ride for the Lance Armstrong Foundation, which does amazing support work for people with cancer. In this post, he talks about how he's trying to mirror back to Zach some of the inspiration that Zach's will to live has given us.

(One of my favorite small moments so far in my marriage was the moment when Dan, in sympathy with my grammatical objection to his LiveStrong bracelet, got a Sharpie and added a proper -ly to Strong. Although it still bugs me when people use adjectives as if they were adverbs, I am now prepared to get over it, but only where Lance Armstrong is concerned.)
