In the first 36 hours after we told our authors we'd be shopping the anthology elsewhere, half of them have already contacted us. Every one of those has expressed willingness to come with us. Even if every author we haven't yet heard from declined, we'd have enough kickass stories to make a good book. So we're still in the anthology business. Yay.

Awesome. Most authors are pretty cool about this sort of thing ... and too damned happy to be even provisionally accepted to back out of a project just because of a few snags. :)
