Our electricity is out, and it's not clear when that will change. Otherwise, we're fine and in good spirits. I'll post about it here later, but my neighbor who has a generator is about to turn it off for the night. For a small glimpse of our Hurricane Sandy adventures, you can check out this week's Black Gate blog post.

Glad you are okay! I hope your power comes back soon; that must be a royal pain!

Glad you are safe and well, if without power. Take care and we'll see you on the flip side.

Glad you're alright! Fingers crossed for electricity soon. Hopefully, the kids will think of it as a camping trip at home...

On Monday night, with Sandy's winds howling outside my window, I comforted myself to sleep by re-reading a story of Jane, Sophie, and their covenmates facing a hurricane at the Jersey shore.

Don't know how to comment on black gate, but I remember sesame street's 'there is a monster at the end of this book' to be a pretty tense read, every time. Monster did always turn out to be Grover, the protagonist though.
