Here’s something weird: though each of my books has had a giveaway on Goodreads, I’ve never entered for anybody else’s giveaway. A couple of times when guest bloggers at Black Gate have offered a copy of a book, with comments on the post counting as entries, I’ve won books, but entirely by accident — I just had some comment I felt like adding to the conversation. It’s not that I avoid giveaways, just that it doesn’t occur to me to go looking for them.
So, what do you guys think about book giveaways? I’m especially curious about how Goodreads users think about them.
