I don't know if I agree that translating it into pirate improves it much. Consider:

Thar be nay peace in retreat. An' thar be nay honor in retreat. By allowin' radical Islam t' work its will by leavin' an assaulted world t' fend fer itself we would signal t' all that we nay longer believe in our own ideals, or e'en in our own courage. But our enemies an' our shipmates can be certain: Th' United States will nay retreat from th' world, an' we will neresurrender t' evil.

Well, okay, maybe it improves it a little.
