The bloodwork results say I'm fine. Which, considering how reckless I (didn't know I) was being, is kind of odd. I'm still waiting to hear back from my doctor before I take any sort of analgesics. I want to hear her say I've dodged the bullet. There may be more she wants to do.

The analgesic withdrawal headache has abated somewhat. Today, the photosensivity was mild enough, I spent the last hours of suspense driving around Princeton and points west, buying various pain management things I'd run out of and can't obtain closer to home. It has occurred to me that, if the tylenol had ever really been enough to get the job done, I wouldn't have been right up to the outer edge of the allowable dose every day for three months in the first place. So I need to reform my weekly routine. More Tai Chi, more yoga, more massage (again, I must point out that I have the best spouse in the whole world), more magnesium malate. Less time in Route 18 traffic and, alas, less coffee. As long as the time doesn't get carved out of my writing hours, it should all be worth it. I may need to be reminded of that.

Thank you all for rooting for me. The past few days would have been a lot harder if I'd thought I was alone with it.

Looks like I'll be going to Lunacon this weekend, after all. How about you?

I agree with your motivation to reduce stressors.
A great stressor is well-meaning maternity books that make people nervous with too many "do nots". L may have mentioned this.
Less coffee for me too, sigh. But "less" doesn't mean "none"
A regular bedtime is a good thing and we should BOTH enjoy it while we can.
