Professor Holt's Invitation

I like my Congressman so much, I wish there were several of him. I could ramble cheerily on about his virtues (only physicist in Congress, long years teaching, supporter of poetry, etc.), but that would bore you all. The upshot is, he's a Geek Like Us, fighting the good fight.

Dan and I are thinking of going to a public meeting he's holding. If you live in New Jersey's 12th District, lucky you, you too can come get a bumper sticker for your car that says "My Congressman IS a Rocket Scientist!" Even if you're not in the 12th District, one of your Senators will be in attendance. Holt's missive says:

I hope you'll join me for a public meeting in Monroe Township on Tuesday, August 15 to discuss issues affecting our community such as economic development, hometown security, energy, health care, education, Social Security, and anything else that may be on your mind. U.S. Senator Bob Menendez will also be there. The meeting will be held at the Monroe Township High School, located at 1629 Perrineville Road at 7:00 p.m. (The high school is located just about half a mile north of the post office.)
