Gift Card for a Baby Shower

Dear B&S--

We tried to take you at your word that what you guys really need is a Dungeons & Dragons rule book for babies. Alas, my favorite children's classics, That's Not My Drow! and The Poky Little Gelatinous Cube were out of stock, and My Little Golden Book of Critical Success Tables appears to be out of print. We hope this will do instead.

(Dan adds: "The only such book I remember from my childhood is The Little Fireball That Could.")

Too.
Damn.
Cute.

I am currently quite taken with Tony Ross's Little Princess books (I Want My Mummy!, I Want My Potty!, and so on), which my sister's buying for the baby.

Oh. Wow.

I had a great one (that I still have) called the Emperor's Dragon. Of course, that's for later. Past the fuzzy touch books.

Ah, kid books. I've got to get on the stick and start getting my nephews interesting books.

Edited for correct name...

The actual name of the book is "The Laughing Dragon". It's terribly wonderful, and unfortunately out of print. Here's what little Amazon has for it:

There are so many books that I've read, and no longer have, and can only remember bits and pieces...no titles. Pity, really.
