Unpack, Repack, Go!
Jun. 13th, 2007 03:22 pmOff to festival in the morning. I've got my festive Solstice sunblock, my festive Solstice camping cutlery, and my festive Solstice cooler. Chicken-chickpea tagine for 20 is chilling overnight in my freezer for transit. The car is loaded, but for the perishables and some pillows. The Weather Channel predicts scattered showers tomorrow afternoon, when I will need to pitch the tent. It's inconvenient, but rain is a sort of FSG tradition, so I'm just glad we're not looking at a prediction of a four-day relentless downpour or a minor tornado. I'm hoping the good people from Sacred Mark Sanctuary will let me pick their brains about body modification. No, I'm not in the market for a new tattoo just yet. The short story I'm working on now, a Rugosa Coven story about the tattoo artist, is stalled out at the moment. I have my festive Solstice legal pads, and I mean to come home with 3,000 words of working draft. The annual sunburn, bug bites, and sore feet from dancing around the bonfire will probably take care of themselves.
